How it works

1

Tell mero. about you.

Your weight, height, age, activity level, goal, and food preferences. That's the input. Your macro targets come out the other side, calculated for your body, not averaged across a population.

2

Pick your cuisines and cooking days.

Choose the dishes you actually want to eat. Tell mero. which days you cook. The app builds your full week around those two decisions: what goes in the bowl, and when it gets made.

3

Cook once. Eat all week.

mero. assembles your bowls from the ground up. Base, protein, vegetables, sauce. Every component portioned to your numbers. Your shopping list is built from exactly what you'll cook, down to the individual ingredient.

Cooking for a family? Each person gets their own protein and their own portions, assembled from the same meal. One cook, one kitchen session, individual plates.

The numbers come from somewhere real.

Protein first Fat second Carbs from remainder Fiber tracked

Protein targets in mero. are set from lean mass, estimated from your body composition category, or calculated directly if you've entered a precise body fat percentage from a DEXA scan. Two people who weigh the same but carry different amounts of muscle have different protein needs. mero. accounts for that difference.

Fat is set as a percentage of your calories, with a floor that keeps hormone production intact. Carbohydrates fill what's left. This is the calculation order sports nutrition guidelines use: protein first, fat second, carbohydrates from the remainder.

Fiber gets its own target, tracked from what's actually in your assembled meals.

Approach draws on position stands from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) and guidelines from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), with additional reference to Stacy Sims' research on female physiology and Anita Bean's work on applied sports nutrition.
